The Co-hosts

Hello listeners! I’m passionate about anything creative, experimental, and out-of-the-box, especially innovation and change that functions on a systems level. I enjoy art, stop-motion animation, fiction writing, learning languages, Zen meditation, plant-based cooking, and traveling. I have an MPH in sociomedical sciences and infectious disease epidemiology from Columbia University. I did my undergrad studies in psychology and public health at BU.
On Case Confirmed, I love having conversations with guest speakers and uncovering surprising insights on their areas of expertise. The show connects otherwise-siloed public health professionals together to create a more unified public health community, one that can help to address challenges in an interdisciplinary way. With the diverse perspectives highlighted, our audience can apply insights from our episodes to their careers while learning new things.
Lastly, I’m very grateful to our knowledgeable speakers, curious and global listeners, and to my lovely co-hosts! We have a fun time together, and it’s been a great journey.

Hello hello! Thank you so much for visiting our site and for tuning into our passion project, Case Confirmed. A little about me….
I grew up in the Greater Boston area among a million relatives (only slightly exaggerating) and am currently living in southeast France (zero relatives, but a wonderful partner). I love exploring, languages, climbing, thrifting, cooking & eating all the things, and Latin dance. I have a BA in Women & Gender Studies (UMass Boston) and MPH (Boston University). I’ve been working in public health research since my early 20s and am deeply passionate about sexual and reproductive health and rights and how gendered stigma affects health equity.
I became involved with Case Confirmed serendipitously when a mutual friend introduced Meera and me. I considered myself a technophobe back then and thought podcasting would be a good way to overcome my fear of tech. This turned out to be true, but by far my favorite part of this project has been how much I’ve learned from our guests through our conversations - my goal is for our listeners to feel the same!

Hey! I grew up on St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands and absolutely love the beach and sun and currently live in the windy city of Chicago, Illinois! I graduated from Emory with a BS in biology (and minor in religion), and subsequently completed three masters degrees (MS, MPH at BU) and (MBA at Case Western). During the day, I enjoy melding together biostatistics with business and thinking about unique ways in which data can inform the trajectory of business strategy. I am also interested in using inferential and predictive modeling to identify risk factors that can inform public health/healthcare interventions and policy changes. I currently work at an oncology company managing biostatistics for clinical trials and registries.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling around the world, doing yoga, reading, and learning about different cultures. One of my life goals is to be able to speak 7 languages fluently one day.
I am thankful for my friendships with the Case Confirmed co-hosts, Meera and Dina. We’ve experimented and learned throughout our journey at Case Confirmed, and I can’t wait to see what future insights we gain from our upcoming episodes.
To all our listeners, I thank you for tuning in and contacting us. We love hearing from you!
